Short speech delivered by dr Łukasz Haromszeki, the Coordinator of the Executive MBA Program
Ladies and gentlemen, in my short speech I want to focus on the AMBA accreditation that was mentioned today a few times. Let me start by saying that to be awarded this accreditation you have to go under very complicated, demanding and long-lasting process.
Our preparation for receiving an AMBA accreditation started at the end of 2017. In April 2018 we fulfilled the primary requirements and the Executive MBA Program earned the status of a candidate for the accreditation. In July this year we were visited by the international Accreditation Committee.
The Committee reviewed: the University and Faculty mission and strategies, their ranking positions in Europe and Poland, the scientific and didactic achievement both of the University and Faculty, including all offered programs and scientific publications, financial sustainability and resources, like campus facilities, classrooms, IT support, library, canteens, restaurants.
And finally, our Executive MBA Program has been awarded the accreditation by the AMBA this month.
It is the oldest and the most prestigious international accreditation granted by the Association of MBAs which as a global organization was founded in 1967. Its accreditation service is the global standard for all MBA programs.
So far, the AMBA has accredited the programs in only the top 2% of the world’s business schools. Presently this elite group covers about 270 schools of higher education from approximately 70 countries. Now we are in such elite company of schools as: Copenhagen Business School, INSEAD, Henley Business School, Aston Business School, Cranfield School of Management, London Business School, Oxford Brookes University, Warsaw School of Economics.
AMBA accreditation is awarded to the best programs internationally and denotes the highest and rigorous standard of achievement in postgraduate business education. It’s recognized as a gold standard.
