Professor Kiba-Janiak is employed at the Wrocław University of Economics and Business, at the Department of Strategic Management and Logistics at the Faculty of Management, since 2012 as a university professor. In the years 2000-2013 she worked at the University of Business (WSB) in Gorzów Wielkopolski. At WSB, she served as Dean for one term, and in 2010-2012 as Rector. She participated in five research projects financed by the National Science Center and the European Union. Currently, she is the head of a research project funded by the National Science Center entitled Sustainable city last mile logistics and e-commerce returns. Perspective of various groups of stakeholders (decision no.DEC-2018/31 / B / HS4 / 03711), under which she manages a research team of eight people supported by five experts from prestigious foreign universities. In 2019, prof. Kiba-Janiak participated in a three-month research internship at the University of Melbourne, as part of which she conducted research on urban logistics and initiated a partnership for the quality of freight transport (the project was financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange under the Bekker program). The director has been organizing scientific conferences, seminars, meetings and study visits for many years. Since 2015, it has been regularly organizing a scientific seminar European Network Management for Logistics Processes (ENLOP) in cooperation with the Kuehne Foundation (and since 2019 with Kuehne Logistics University) for managers and directors representing key international enterprises around the world. From June 15, 2020, dr. Maja Kiba-Janiak, prof. of the Wrocław University of Economics, she took the position of the Director of the Excecutive Master of Business Administration program.
